Data controller

The data controller is Michele Mora, who runs the Bergamo Hideout and Bergamo DiMora apartments. For any request about personal data, please write on WhatsApp to +39 351 611 6194.

Data collected

When you book: the details you enter in the booking form (name, contact details, dates, number of guests, any requests). Payment details are handled directly by the payment provider and are not visible to the controller.

Before arrival: the ID details of every guest, which must be reported by law.

When contacting us on WhatsApp: your phone number and the messages you send.

Purposes

To manage your booking and your stay (performance of the contract).

To meet legal obligations: reporting guests to the police (art. 109 TULPS), tourism statistics and tax obligations.

Data is not used for advertising and is never sold to third parties.

Recipients

Smoobu, the booking management software, and the payment provider, who process data on behalf of the controller.

Netlify, which hosts this website and logs technical data such as IP addresses to run and protect it.

Public authorities, only when required by law.

Meta (WhatsApp), only when you contact us via WhatsApp.

OpenStreetMap, only if you choose to view an apartment's map.

Retention

For as long as needed to manage your booking, and then for the periods required by law, such as tax rules. ID details are used only for the police report and are not kept longer than necessary.

Cookies

This website does not use profiling or analytics cookies. The booking form is provided by Smoobu and may use the technical cookies it needs to work. To adjust the height of the form, the page loads a small library from cdnjs (Cloudflare).

Your rights

You can ask the controller at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format, within the limits set by law. If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can contact the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
